Forged between France and Tunisia, Myrath has emerged as one of the most distinctive forces in modern metal. Blending razor-sharp riffs, cinematic orchestrations, and the hypnotic pulse of African, Indian, and European traditions, their music is not a calculated fusion but a natural expression of diverse roots. Fans and critics alike simply call it Blazing Desert Metal.

Myrath’s story is one of resilience. During the Tunisian revolution, the band wrote Tales of the Sands (2011) while protecting their homes by day and composing music by night; a defining moment that still echoes through their sound. Since then, they have conquered international stages from Hellfest to Japan, Europe, and the Americas. In 2022, they made history by performing at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, reaching millions worldwide.

Their latest release, Karma (2024), marked a rebirth; a bombastic, arena-ready album that reaffirmed their reputation for innovation. Looking ahead, Myrath is preparing their most ambitious project yet: a new album set for 2026, featuring a special duet with Elize Ryd from the band Amaranthe.

FEN are climbing to a new artistic height by coming down to earth with their eighth full-length "Elemental Part One: Mourning Earth". The East Anglian trio has turned to their 'roots' in every sense, by distilling the true essence of what constitutes their sound through everything that they have learned and added in the last two decades.

While the previous album, "Monuments to Absence" (2023), was deliberately arranged dense, fast and intense, FEN decided to leave breathing space on this album to allow more time for themes and ideas to exhale and unfurl. Of course, there is still much sonic aggression but channelled differently, as large parts of "Mourning Earth" were recorded live to allow an organic nature to flow, and to permit the natural rhythms of the pieces to develop.

Lyrically, FEN sum up their basic idea behind "Elemental Part One: Mourning Earth" in their own poetic words: "The morning mists clearing over the boggy expanses of the fens to reveal another grey, gloom-laden day of sorrow and regret. And at twilight, the slow, sad realisation that tomorrow promises only more of the same – tormented by the half-heard whispers of the spirits bound to the soils, our pain continues. And we can only endure." With "Elemental Part One: Mourning Earth", FEN have reached a new pinnacle in their exciting career and achieved a perfect balance between their black metal foundations and post-black metal innovations.

FEN take their listener on a journey to grim bogs, languid waterways, and dismal fogs over bare rock – yet on the other side waits a sense of surcease to the endless existential ennui within.

Shelf Lives is an Electro-Bass Punk band, which is definitely not a real genre. After a few years of creating, releasing and caring-ish what everyone thinks, they now don't (at all) but are obsessed with experimenting and embracing authentically whatever they feel. The objective is clear and the boundaries intentional; the point is to get every listener to feel something, whether it’s bad or good, whether they want to or not.

On the face of it, Shelf Lives make catchy, energetic tunes that bring the abrasiveness and physicality of punk back to a small, cramped house party setting. It’s music so rowdy you can practically feel the sweat on the ceiling and the sound of crushed cans under your feet.

Though Shelf Lives haven’t been a band for long, they’ve already played acclaimed sets at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Kendall Calling, TGE, SXSW, New Colossus, 2000 Trees, YNOT and headlined the Rising Stage at Green Man, have supported the likes of Skunk Anansie, Lambrini Girls, Sprints, Panic Shack, Jehnny Beth, The Kills, Lynx and more. Joined fellow confrontational noise-makers Bob Vylan and HO99O9 on the cover of Gigwise, had a spread in NME and praise and features in Clash, DIY, UPSET, Dork, Line of Best Fit and on BBC R1 Jack Saunders, Jess Iszatt, Steve Lamacq and more.

Legendary Southern California G-punk pioneers (Hed)p.e. were known for their raw, brutal honesty, raunchy lyrics, and often outlandish sense of humor. During their rise amid the nu-meal ranks, (Hed)p.e. shows often united fans and were a giant middle finger to the corporate rock that was ruling the airwaves in the late 90s and early 2000s. (Hed)p.e's defiant attitude, chaotic energy and groove is what people related to, as well as earned them the respect of fellow musicians like Jonathan Davis from Korn, M. Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold, and Chester Bennington from Linkin Park.

(Hed) P.E are the pioneers of the G-Punk sound, which fuses together punk-rock, metal, hip-hop and reggae. The band has toured the world for 20 years sharing the stage with the likes of Suicidal Tendencies, System of a Down, KORN, Tech N9ne, Motley Crue as well as the original Black Sabbath on the iconic Ozzfest tour. (Hed) P.E experienced a creative resurgence after signing with Suburban Noize Records in the early 2000s and was instrumental in developing the booming underground scene. The band recently released a new album “DETOX” in December via Suburban Noize Records.

Ulrika Spacek is a British experimental rock band from London, known for their hypnotic blend of jagged guitar textures and dreamlike atmospherics. There’s a strange comfort in Ulrika Spacek’s dissonance, since emerging from the shadows of a creaking East London house known only as “KEN,” the band has quietly built a reputation for turning existential inertia into sound.Formed in 2014 by Rhys Edwards and Rhys Williams, Ulrika Spacek began as an insular project and has remained defiantly self-contained with the addition of Joseph Stone, Callum Brown, Syd Kemp and Rhys Jenkins.Debut album The Album Paranoia (2016) introduced listeners to a meticulously crafted world of off-kilter melodies and enveloping drones. It was followed by Modern English Decoration (2017), a critically acclaimed second LP that pushed their sound into more refined and textural territory. After a period of near-silence, they returned in 2024 with Compact Trauma, an album that channeled the anxiety and dislocation of the modern age through a prismatic haze of guitars, loops, and elliptical lyrics. The music lives in the liminal space between introspection and abrasion, the melodic and the abstract. With emphasis on sonic experimentation, visual art, and immersive live performances, the band make records the way people write journals: privately, obsessively, with a sense that they may go unread. And somehow, that makes them feel even more intimate. Fourth album ‘EXPO’ is due to be released early 2026.

Sparta are back, with their all new, sixth album, ‘Cut a Silhouette’, and London headline show. Jim Ward has of course cut plenty of silhouettes, first as a vital member of pioneering post-hardcore outfit, At The Drive In, then as frontman of Sparta, as well as a handful of solo releases.

Now, in 2026, the band is completed by bassist Matt Miller and drummer, Neil Hennessy. They have made a record that’s a culmination of the perfectly imperfect chemistry that flows between them. ‘Cut a Silhouette’ is a collision of past & present, that builds off their legacy, but equally continues their evolution. This is pure, unadulterated Sparta.

FORM Presents SPIKE FUCK plus supports live at The Dome

For ten years Melbourne’sSpike Fuck has existed more as a messy myth than an artist – sporadic works forever poised on the precipice of triumph, rumours of death or insanity and so on. Spike’s foray into music in 2015 served a cultural fantasy, not by any overarching sense of ambition, but rather a would-be, cosplay pop star arrested by his own devices and whose melancholy wove through unlikely cultural circles. His sole body of work, The Smackwave EP (Partisan Records), addressed themes as literal as the title suggests: drug use, gender identity, religion and existentialism. Soon after its release, Spike was swept up in the whirlwind of unexpected success, moving from underground warehouse parties to being draped in high fashion and editorial photoshoots accompanied by interviews, in which he gave unrelenting and uncensored details of his life. 

On the precipice of breakthrough, Spike disappeared. Bootleg uploads and comments on old YouTube videos discussed possibilities that seemed wild but believable, given Spike’s nature, fueling rumours of monastic solitude, relapse, or reinvention as a LinkedIn-worthy daytime professional. Only the most sincere have kept his myth alive.

Crucified Barbara is an all-female Swedish hard rock and heavy metal band formed in Stockholm in 1998 . Initially rooted in punk, they quickly embraced a heavier sound, blending hard rock with metal and trash sensibilities. The quartet—Mia Coldheart (lead vocals,lead  guitar), Klara Force (guitar), Ida Evileye (bass), and Nicki Wicked (drums)—released four acclaimed studio albums between 2005 and 2014: In Distortion We Trust, ’Til Death Do Us Party, The Midnight Chase, and In The Red .

Despite widespread worldwide touring—including festival appearances and a stint in Melodifestivalen—they disbanded in 2016, citing burnout and a loss of joy in playing together  

In a heartfelt turn, the original lineup announced a reunion in October 2024 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, planning a comeback at Sweden Rock Festival in June 2025 . Vocalist Mia describes the reunion as feeling “like coming home” after reconnecting with her bandmates over a beer, rehearsing, and rediscovering their shared passion.  

Their long-awaited return became a reality: on June 7, 2025, they performed their first show in over nine years at Sweden Rock Festival to an emotional reception. The reunion has continued with appearances at other festivals such as Resurrection Fest (Spain), La Guerre Du Son (France), and Skogsröjet (Sweden) and plans are in the making for 2026!

Slam Dunk presents SHORELINE plus support from JETSKI and THE BURNT TAPES live Downstairs at The Dome

SHORELINE was formed in 2015 out of a desire to be an active part of the scene back home in Münster. First demo songs on YouTube and plenty of DIY diligence soon got the band on the road. With the EP ‘You Used To Be A Safe Place’ (Uncle M Music, 2018) and their debut album ‘Eat My Soul’ (Uncle M Music, 2019), they quickly grew beyond the status of an insider tip. The follow-up ‘Growth’ (End Hits Records, 2022) further develops the band's political side after the pandemic years, including songs about animal rights (Meat Free Youth) and anti-Asian racism (Konichiwa).

With their third album, ‘To Figure Out’, SHORELINE gained attention beyond Europe's borders when they became the first German band to release an album on the US label Pure Noise Records.

Petrol Girls are back for their first London headline in four-years!! The band is a glorious staple of the post-hardcore scene. Their playful, fast-paced and chaotic punk is a political blast of rage that is as important as it is fun, as demonstrated on their excellent 2022 full-length, ‘Baby’. They will play a string of shows this summer alongside Dead Pioneers incl. at 2000trees Festival before hitting London this fall. It’s damn good to have them back!

Bad Vibrations presents THE MOONLANDINGZ plus Y and TURNSPIT live at The Dome

Comprising members of agit-punks Fat White Family and synth prog group Eccentronic Research Council, the Moonlandingz began life as a fictional band on the ERC's 2015 album, Johnny Rocket, Narcissist & Music Machine...I'm Your Biggest Fan.

A tale of a female fan stalking her favorite singer, Johnny Rocket, of her favorite band, the outer space rockabilly Moonlandingz, the ERC needed someone to play the band, so they brought in Saul Adamczewski and Lias Saoudi of Fat White Family to help out. They recorded an EP to go along with the album and then, buoyed by the experience, everyone involved decided to take it one step further and make the Moonlandingz a real live band. The resulting album, Interplanetary Class Classics, was released in early 2017 on Chimera Music. They toured the U.K. and Europe, then released the This Cities Undone EP late in the year. Their last shows of 2017 were billed as possibly their last ever, as the bandmembers resolved to return to their regular gigs. Their record label wasn’t ready to say goodbye, however, and in early 2018 released a deluxe edition of Interplanetary Class Classics that came with a second disc of remixes, demos, and stray tracks.

In 2025, they returned with a new album, No Rocket Required.

Breed 77 formed in London in 1996. Originally comprised of members from Gibraltar, a small British Territory at the mouth of the Mediterranean – this birthed their sound; a unique fusion of Flamenco and North African influences mixed with alternative Rock & Metal, equal parts exotic and explosive!

Cutting their teeth on the UK live circuit, it wasn’t long before the band was named Best Unsigned Act by Kerrang and Best New Band by Metal Hammer on the back of relentless touring. In 1999, a mere 3 years after forming, the band is selected as the sole support for the Black Sabbath Original Line-up reunion at the London Astoria – the show goes down a storm and at the start of the new millennium Breed 77 sign to Alberts UK .

They release 4 albums on Alberts; Breed 77 2001, Cultura 2004, In My Blood (En Mi Sangre) 2006 and the Spanish language Un Encuentro in 2007. It was with Cultura that things really took off – entering the UK rock charts at number 3 and spawning 3 singles that bothered the mainstream charts with ballad The River breaking into the UK Top 40 at a time when rock was not common in the charts.

In 2009, Insects is released on La Rocka Records, a sprawling concept album ripe with social and political commentary – featuring the stand-out cover of The Cranberries, Zombie.

The Evil Inside is released on Frostbyte/Universal in 2013, darker, moodier and a straight-up rockier affair; lead single Bring On The Rain launches to critical acclaim.

Breed 77 is known for their incendiary live shows and have toured the world extensively with the likes of Megadeth, Machine Head, Korn, Life of Agony & Prong and many more.

Brooklyn's Talib Kweli is revered for his insightful, intelligent lyrics and advanced technical skills on the mic. The earnest MC became one of the most critically successful rappers of his time, which dawned in the late '90s when he formed Reflection Eternal with DJ Hi-Tek and rapped alongside Mos Def as part of the group Black Star.

Their widely acclaimed 1998 album debut, Black Star, helped make Rawkus Records one of the premier underground rap outposts of the late '90s. Reflection Eternal's debut full-length, 2000's Train of Thought, preceded a prolific solo career, which included the gold-certified Quality (2002) and Eardrum (2007), which hit number two on the Billboard 200. Kweli released several albums and mixtapes through his company Blacksmith Music, then formed the independent Javotti Media in the early 2010s, releasing lower profile but acclaimed efforts like 2017's Radio Silence. He remained busy into the 2020s, with two podcasts as well as a collaboration with Diamond D called Gotham, and a 2023 joint effort with Madlib titled Liberation 2.

The universe of Gong began in 1969 when Daevid Allen was inspired by a profound psychedelic vision. A founder member of Soft Machine, Allen incorporated his spiritual and metaphysical leanings into an evolving collective, more a mythology than a band in the conventional sense.

The current incarnation, who were put together by Daevid before his swansong album with Gong, ‘I See You’, honour his intention that Gong do not die with him, urging the band to “carry it on into new unknown heights and depths far beyond anything I could ever imagine myself”.

The collective is the most stable in Gong’s illustrious history, having written, recorded and toured together for eleven years since Allen’s passing. A dynamic, powerful and explosive live band, their music draws from the credo of the original Gong while remaining committed to pushing the composition, performances and message into new realms, paying no mind to nostalgia. XENTRIX were called SWEET VENGEANCE from 1984 to 1988. The original lineup consisted of vocalist/rhythm guitarist Chris Astley, guitarist Kristian Havard, bassist Paul MacKenzie, and drummer Dennis Gasser. The band attracted attention with a five-star rating from Kerrang! magazine, and Roadrunner_Records then contacted the band asking them why they had not been sent a copy and arranged an audition with the band. After the audition, the band were signed to the label and recorded their first album Shattered Existence in the summer of 1989. The band toured with SABBAT in support of the album.

In a June 2019 interview with Metal Crypt, guitarist Havard revealed that XENTRIX had already begun writing the follow-up to Bury the Pain. By March 2021, the band had written and demoed at least twelve songs for their new album and announced that August they were in the studio recording it. The album was completed in June 2022, Seven Words peaked at No. 39 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart. In order to promote Seven Words, XENTRIX (along with WHIPLASH and ARTILLERY) supported Vio-lence on their European MTV Headbangers Ball Tour. Astley rejoined by filling in for Walsh on the tour as Walsh was awaiting the birth of his second child in November 2022. XENTRIX renewed their deal with Listenable Records in November 2023 and the band are expected to release a new album this year.

Two era defining artists SKIDS & THEATRE OF HATE come together this autumn for an explosive UK co-headline tour.

The Skids formed in 1977 in their hometown of Dunfermline, Scotland by Richard Jobson, Stuart Adamson, Bill Simpson & Tom Kellichan. After releasing an independent single the band was played by John Peel, supported The Clash in concert and then were signed to Virgin Records in 1978. Their first singles were “Sweet Surburbia”, “The Saints are Coming” and “Into the Valley” – the latter reaching the UK Top Ten in early 1979.

Their seminal debut album “Scared to Dance” came out in 1979 which was quickly followed by two chart singles – “Masquerade” and “Working for the Yankee Dollar”. Both singles were taken from the Bill Nelson produced second album “Days in Europa”. The album also featured new member Rusty Egan of Rich Kids & Visage fame after the departure of Tom Kellichan. The band released two more albums “The Absolute Game” (1980) and “Joy” (1981) before splitting.

The current Skids line up sees the lineup stripped back to an explosive 4 piece with Richard Jobson, Peter Byrchmore (Membranes), Hernandez (Drums) & Connor Whyte (Guitar).

Formed in Hamburg, Germany, Half Me have spent the last two years relentlessly taking their sound across the world, carving out a reputation as one of heavy music’s most distinctive emerging voices. Blending crushing intensity with an unsettling emotional weight, the band occupies a space where discomfort and honesty become inseparable.

While working on their second full-length album, Half Me are stepping beyond the monochrome world that defined their previous era. The new material does not seek refuge in shadows, it drags everything into the harsh light instead. It is a confrontation with reality at its most exposed — uncomfortable, unfiltered, and impossible to ignore.

Old Empire proudly present WARNING plus special guests SEMANTRON live at The Dome

As Warning release their first new music in twenty years, Patrick Walker is self-effacing about what led to this moment. Over the last two decades, he has continued to write and release music; his attention was diverted to 40 Watt Sun, satisfied that he had achieved what he had set out to do with Warning. But in those intervening years, interest in Warning has swelled, organically gathering an ardent fanbase.

In particular, the 2006 album, Watching from a Distance, has gained a cult following. After a successful string of shows playing the album in 2017, Patrick knew he had a solid live band on hand but did not feel the call to write new Warning material.

In response to a transformative period in his life, Patrick turned towards writing new songs, and it soon became apparent that these belonged to Warning. In early January 2025, he started with a completely blank canvas, and piece by piece, day by day he started to fill it with ideas that evolved to become the songs that make up Rituals of Shame. He worked on the material all day, seven days a week, over three months, his immersion in the project becoming a full-time pursuit.

In the slivers of time in between writing, a deal with Relapse was struck to release the album, which gave Patrick further impetus to complete the task in hand. Recording took place at The Arch Studio, a 140-year-old former church in Southport, UK, with recording and mixing handled by Chris Fullard (Idles, Sunn O))), Ulver). Having already worked with Chris on two 40 Watt Sun records, Patrick had developed an appreciation for his way of working: providing a light touch of structure to the process, allowing the songs to unfold as Patrick intended.

Lifelong musical inspirations of Patrick’s can be traced through Rituals of Shame, although they may at first be hard to identify. The ambitious structural arrangements harken to Marillion’s complex but soaring episodic songs. They retain a sparsity that is reminiscent of June Tabor’s economic arrangements; thick with melody but with a diaphanous air to them. Citing John Brenner of Revelation as an enduring inspiration, Patrick credits him with introducing the idea of how to infuse heavy music with significant emotional depth.

Often reluctant to be drawn on the minutiae of his lyrics, Patrick does acknowledge that making this album was a direct response to the very present period of his life, its concerns being immediate. Rituals of Shame also echoes the enduring themes and fixations that have marked most of his work: guilt, shame, personal failure, obsession, longing, and separation, but, most of all, he says, love.

With their diehard fans at their side, NILE fearlessly faced the planet’s inevitable end with zero histrionics on their 10th album, The Underworld Awaits Us All, released via Napalm Records.

Upon release, the album made an immediate global impact. In the U.S., it reached #2 on Billboard's Current Hard Music Albums chart and #8 on Current Rock Albums. In Canada, the record secured the #1 spot on the Billboard Hard Music Albums chart, while also landing at #13 on both the Top Canadian Album Sales and Top Current Albums charts. Across the Atlantic, the international momentum continued with strong placements in major European markets. John Mitchell is bringing his Christmas concert back. John Mitchell & Friends will play The Dome in Tufnell Park, London, on Friday 18 December.

Last year’s December show at Dingwalls was a huge success. Since then, the new Lonely Robot album, An Ending, has been released to great acclaim, so another Christmas concert felt like the obvious next step.

Once again John welcomes his long-standing musical collaborators Craig Blundell (Steve Hackett, Steven Wilson), Oskar Holldorff (Big Big Train, Dim Grey) and Jez Fielder (Songs and Stories) to the stage.

The evening’s set will cover John’s career across Lonely Robot, Frost, It Bites and Kino. This year there’s something new. For the very first time, the audience will hear a few tracks from An Ending played live.

Lost Society are a Finnish Metal band from Jyväskylä, formed in 2010. The lineup consists of guitarist/vocalist Samy Elbanna, guitarist Arttu Lesonen, bassist Mirko Lehtinen, and drummer Taz Fagerström.

Hokka is comprised of Joel Hokka, former frontman of the nu metal phenomenon Blind Channel, and Pauli Rantasalmi, longtime guitarist of the beloved The Rasmus. Pauli is also known for his songwriting and production work – not only for The Rasmus’s biggest hits like In the Shadows but also for artists like Tarja Turunen and many more. Together with wonderkid drummer Jimi Aslak the two created a new band: HOKKA.

Welsh rock band Scarlet Rebels have announced their first headline tour in three years, with the 2027 UK run kicking off on 11 February. The announcement comes alongside the release of their brand-new single and video, ‘Chains’, the third track to be taken from their forthcoming album Flawed By Design, due for release on 13 November 2026 via Earache Records.
 
The video for ‘Chains’ was filmed at Scarlet Rebels’ biggest headline show to date at Chepstow Castle, capturing a landmark night for the band in front of a huge home crowd.

Recorded with returning producer Chris Clancy, Flawed By Design continues the progression of Scarlet Rebels’ sound following their previous top 20 album Where The Colours Meet. The new record combines the band’s instinct for powerful rock songs with a more personal and introspective approach to songwriting.
 
‘Chains’ began unexpectedly, with the song coming together from a single idea at home. Wayne Doyle explains,
“This song dropped out of the blue, quite literally. I picked my acoustic guitar up at home, hit the first chord and sung ‘Set my soul on fire again’. It went from there. This was the first song we started to work on for the record.
The song speaks of my internal thoughts and anxieties, the over thinking and over analysing that can be overbearing and weigh you down, resulting in a pleading to be released from that burden or my ‘chains’ if you will.
I’m conscious that anyone reading this must think I’m constantly walking around being miserable, but like anything that takes any sort of art form, the point is exaggerated for the greater good.”

The Last Internationale, also known as TLI, is a NY band formed by singer Delila Paz and guitarist Edgey.

Especially known for their powerful live performances, TLI has shared the stage with acts such as Robert Plant, Neil Young, The Who, Kings of Leon, Slash, Scott Weiland, Weezer, One Republic, Tom Morello, Lenny Kravitz, Incubus, Royal Blood, The Cult, Rival Sons, KISS, Deep Purple, opened for Guns and Roses AND played most of the major festivals throughout Europe, including Pink Pop, Rock Werchter, Hellfest, Mad Cool, Lollapalooza, and Hyde Park.

Their debut album, We Will Reign, was released on Epic Records in 2014. The record was produced by Grammy Award-winning rock producer Brendan O'Brien and features drummer Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine), who joined and toured with the band throughout the duration of that record cycle.

The Hold Steady are one of America’s most acclaimed and enduring bands, formed in Brooklyn in 2003 by singer and songwriter Craig Finn and guitarist Tad Kubler. Drawing on classic rock, punk and heartland Americana, the band have built a fiercely loyal international following through Finn’s vividly detailed storytelling and their famously exuberant live performances.

Regular visitors to the U.K. since 2007, live highlights have included a sold-out headline slot at London’s Roundhouse in 2008 and an appearance on The Other Stage at Glastonbury in 2010 and their now-established annual London Weekender has seen the band take over venues including the Electric Ballroom, The Dome, 100 Club and Dingwalls. Since forming in 2018, Chicago’s Ax and the Hatchetmen have gone from a tight-knit group of music school friends to one of the most electrifying young bands in modern rock. Led by guitarist and singer Axel Ellis alongside Sal Defilippis on guitar, Hunter Olshefke on bass, Chaandmon Crofton on drums, Phil Pistone on trumpet, and Quinn Dolan on saxophone, the six-piece first came together while studying jazz at University. But while their musical foundation may be formal, the band’s sound is anything but. A freewheeling collision of rock, soul, funk, and pop that channels the timeless energy of their wide-ranging influences into something distinctly their own.

That chemistry- and a live show built to leave a mark- has taken Ax and the Hatchetmen from packed hometown rooms to sold-out headline tours and the stages of Lollapalooza, the Chicago institution they once looked at with stars in their eyes. Along the way, they released a live album, signed with Arista Records, and built an impressive catalog of releases culminating in the band’s debut album So Much To Tell You. Released in 2025 and produced by Jake Sinclair (Panic!
